Today, the standard of care for diabetic macular edema (DME) is a short-acting treatment that targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) pathways and requires multiple injections to the eye over the course of treatment. There are other long-acting treatment options available.

In the NEW DAY Study, we are reviewing long- and short-acting DME treatments.

Step 1:
Complete Pre-Qualification Survey

Click on the link below to complete the pre-qualification survey to see if you meet the requirements for this study.

Step 2:
Find A Doctor

After completing the survey, click on the map to see if your eyecare doctor is participating in the NEW DAY Study. If your own doctor is not participating, choose the eye doctor closest to you.

Step 3:
Visit The Office

The final step to meeting eligibility requirements for the NEW DAY Study is to schedule an in-person visit with your eye doctor and talk to them about your interest in the NEW DAY study. The study site research team will be able to discuss in detail the study requirements.
